Weighbridge Operative

Our client, a city centre busy recycling centre, is looking to recruit a part time weighbridge operative. This role would initially be for 2 days a week plus training with the possibility of more hours to come
Hours and Rate of Pay
- 2 days a week between Monday-Friday
- 08.00 am-16.45 pm
- £11.44 per hour
- Some flexibility on days required
The Role
- You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the weighbridge, managing the movements of vehicles entering and exiting the site.
- Weighing vehicles on entry and exit of site
- Entering vehicle details and ticketing loads through the in-house operating system
- Liaising with drivers and ensuring their vehicles are within legal weight limits.
- Briefing all visitors on site safety instructions
- The role requires you to enter accurate information into the company’s systems, so you must be IT literate, methodical and organised.
- Training will be provided by the client
